[ET Net News Agency, 2 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$178.25 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$27.4 billion, or 15.37% of the
market's turnover. There were 785 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and MEITUAN-W
(03690) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.09 billion and HK$1.81
billion, or 11.27% and 6.62% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 34.57% and 23.16% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1 billion and HK$928.63 million
of short sales, accounting for 3.66% and 3.39% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 14.15% and 27.11% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.04, or 0.15%, to HK$26.24. MEITUAN-W ended down HK$3.05, or
3.06%, to HK$96.5. TENCENT fell HK$2.5, or 0.4% to HK$617. CSOP HS TECH remained flat, to
HK$5.52.
