[ET Net News Agency, 26 March 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$199.77
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$39.1 billion, or 19.57% of the market's
turnover. There were 698 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.95 billion and HK$4.43 billion, or
12.67% and 11.33% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 39.46% and 42.06% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and KUAISHOU-W (01024) registered HK$1.67 billion and HK$1.56
billion of short sales, accounting for 4.28% and 3.99% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 33.89% and 30.09% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.12, or 0.51%, to HK$23.78. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.3, or
0.34%, to HK$88.52. BYD COMPANY rose HK$9.2, or 2.36% to HK$398.4. KUAISHOU-W declined by
HK$0.95, or 1.67%, to HK$55.85.
