[ET Net News Agency, 13 February 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$379.45 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$52.1 billion, or 13.73% of the
market's turnover. There were 684 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$7.13 billion and HK$4.96
billion, or 13.69% and 9.52% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 42.37% and 43.46% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$4.83 billion and HK$3.19 billion
of short sales, accounting for 9.27% and 6.13% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 12.07% and 13.22% of respective stock's
turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed down HK$0.74, or 0.9%, to HK$81.74. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.06, or
1.16%, to HK$5.11. BABA-W rose HK$2.9, or 2.55% to HK$116.7. TRACKER FUND declined by
HK$0.06, or 0.27%, to HK$22.
